Day-to-Day Administration
The ongoing administrative services provided by CMG are multifaceted. An
important role is to facilitate communications between Officers, Directors,
Committee Chairs, Society members and affiliated organizations. CMG
staff is experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of society management
and provides first tier responses to questions and inquiries from members and
nonmembers. We
serve as the first contact point for members and nonmembers via e-mail, telephone,
web-based
contacts and cold calls. We address all issues as
they arise and forward them to the Officers, Directors and client Committee
Chairs, as appropriate. All financial, membership, meeting management,
publication and marketing services are handled by CMG. Daily activities
include telephone and e-mail communications; receipt and processing of member
applications and renewals; financial services (A/P, A/R and investment oversight);
production and mailing of membership materials to members; website maintenance,
special project research and reporting; meeting planning; marketing planning;
and much
more, based on the needs and directions of the client.
